Sheila
Hi, my name is Sheila Jones, and I am a dental hygienist for Dental Designs of Bountiful. Ever since I can remember, I have always had a passion for teeth. I married my husband in 1986, and we got orders to Spangdahlem, Germany. While there, I volunteered in the dental clinic on base and assisted the oral surgeon. Four years later, we moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where I pursued dental hygiene and graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with summa cum laude.
My role as your dental hygienist is to provide comfortable care, a thorough assessment of findings, dental hygiene treatment planning, prophylactic care/scaling and root planning, combined together with patient education and oral hygiene instruction. I also enjoy building personal relationships with my patients and am centered around educating and motivating them toward their optimum state of oral health.
I am a mom of two beautiful daughters and a grandmother of three handsome grandsons. In my spare time, I love to go camping, Razor riding, boating, skiing, and spending as much time as I can with my family.

My name is Kayley Jacobson. I am a dental assistant. I have been a dental assistant for over 2 years and love helping people. Everybody that works here is wonderful with great personalities. We all want to make you walk out with big smiles.

My name is April Rammell, and I have been a dental hygienist with the practice for the last 4 months. I recently graduated from the Weber State University Dental Hygiene program with honors. I have been married 11 years to a great guy who works in local law enforcement. We have a little girl, who is eight years old and in third grade. We love being together as a family and taking care of one another. We love hiking, paddle boarding, and taking trips together. The thing I love most about this practice is the focus on the patient and making sure they are comfortable and appreciated. Going to the dentist isn’t always the most exciting thing for people, and this practice does a really good job of appreciating the patient and attending to their needs during the visit. As a relatively new hygienist, I am excited to contribute wholly to this great office while meeting new people each day and helping them better their oral health.
Denise
I am the office manager at Dental Designs of Bountiful, but had been doing daycare and preschool for 16 years when I decided it was time for a career change. I went back to school, where I earned my Dental Office Administrative Professional and Business Applications Specialist certificates from Davis Applied Technology College and was selected as a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
I grew up in Layton and now live in Woods Cross with my wonderful husband, Dave, a daughter, and two sons. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending my children’s many activities, traveling, and reading.
I want patients to feel comfortable and strive to put people at ease by building confidence, trust, and friendship. I feel the best part about working in our office is getting to know the patients and their families and hearing their stories. I feel honored to work with such caring, professional, and dedicated doctors and team members. I will be able to help you with many different aspects of your dental care including scheduling appointments, utilizing your insurance benefits, explaining treatment plans, and providing payment options.
